Carmen Carrera

Carmen Carrera is an American reality television personality, model, burlesque performer, actress, and activist. As a trans woman, she stands to awaken the will in others to help create positive spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth to express who they are and live in their truth without fear, judgement, or persecution. Carmen strives to make a difference in the lives of all trans and gender non conforming individuals who find it difficult to navigate the obstacles of modern society and transitioning. She hopes to show the world that trans people are worthy of love, respect, dignity and inclusion, and is a living testimony of what is possible when one believes in living authentically and the value of empowering others to do the same.
