- This BBQ Chicken Skewer Salad is always on repeat in our household during the summer! It’s the perfect dinner to make on the grill, especially when you’re having people over. I also love that it can easily be made kid-friendly; they’ll likely skip the greens but can still enjoy the chicken with a side of grilled corn! I cannot wait for you to get your hands on this one. My goal with each of my books has always been to inspire you to cook more in your kitchens, but I also realize that our busy lives take away the joy of cooking. Each of these recipes are created with just that in mind! Knowing which meals from my previous books that you’ve gravitated to over the years really inspired each recipe within my NEW wonderful cookbook that I am certain will become your go-to when making dinner! In Dinner Tonight, there is a beautiful collection of skillet dinners, one-pot meals, and sheet pan dinners to make your cooking process (including kitchen cleanup) a little less daunting. To some people, taking shortcuts, like cooking in one pot can mean less flavor, but rest assured that the recipes in this book are some of my absolute favorites, streamlined to be as straightforward as possible by using a minimal number of pots and pans — but never sacrificing taste. The chapters are filled with recipes that make life a little easier and while I won’t pick favorites, recipes like my One-Skillet Lasagna or my One-Pan Coconut-Lime Chicken and Rice are going to blow your mind and become part of your dinner rotation in no-time! And the Slow Cooker Gochujang Shredded Beef Bowls? WOW, don’t get me started on how many times I’ve made this one for the fam!!! I’ve been working so hard on this new baby of mine and am SO excited to finally share a little more about DINNER TONIGHT! It would mean so much to me if you would PRE-ORDER your copy today (link in my bio and in my stories!). Your continued support means the world to me! I can’t wait to celebrate this book with you in January!!! Try these PB Frozen Yogurt Bars (Recipe inspired by @kaylaskitchandfix!) So fun, so easy, and filled with ingredients you can feel good about + a little protein powder!! We had so much fun making these together! Ingredients: 1 cup whole milk Greek yogurt 1 tbsp honey 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter 1 scoop Rootz Protein Superfood ½ cup roughly chopped peanuts 1 cup dark choc chips 1 tbsp coconut oil Flakey salt Instructions: In a bowl, mix together the yogurt, honey, peanut butter and protein powder until well combined and smooth. Scoop four ¼ cup round circles onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Place a popsicle stick in the center of the circle and using a small rubber spatula, smooth out the yogurt so it covers the top of the popsicle stick. Sprinkle the tops with the chopped peanuts and using the palm of your hand, gently press the nuts into the yogurt pop. Transfer to the freezer and freeze until solid, about 45 minutes. When frozen, prepare the chocolate. In a medium sized microwave safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips + 1 tbsp of coconut oil and melt in 30 second increments until smooth. Dip the frozen yogurt pops into the chocolate and try to coat it all over. Sprinkle with flakey salt, if using, and transfer back to the freezer and freeze until completely frozen, at least 2 hours554.7K2.97%8 months agoWe’re starting August off with a bang!
